After entering the Singapore Botanic Gardens via the Bukit Timah Gate, turn left at the first corner and walk through the Bukit Timah Visitor Services Counter towards Eco-Garden and Eco-Lake.

13) The Baobab Tree before Eco-Lake

Africa's Baobab Tree, known as the "Tree of Life", has unusually large swollen trunk for storing water. Its fruits, leaves snd trunks provide people and wildlife with water, food and shelter. It is beside Eco-Lake.

Turn right after the Waterfalls. On your left is Symphony Lake and on your right is the EJH Corner House, partially hidden by trees.

The EJH Corner House was built in 1910 to house Edred John Henry Corner, the Assistant Director of the Singapore Botanic Gardens from 1929 to 1945.

Come down from EJH Corner House, turn right and turn left and then turn left at Heliconia Walk. Continue walking on Heliconia Walk.
