Walk back to pass the side of the National Orchid Garden. This is the nearest way to the Gallop Extension where you will find three beautiful buildings, two of them with conservation status.
Follow signs for the Como Adventure Grove. If you cannot find such signs, follow signs for OCBC Arboretum first until you can find signs for the Como Adventure Grove.

If you have kids with you, this is the place for you. The COMO Adventure Grove has swings, long slides, seed like see saws and a giant Cempedak (looks and taste like Jackfruit) for your kids to play in and with nature.

When your kids are done with the Como Adventure Grove, walk back to its beginning at the back of the Cempedak. To reach OCBC Arboretum, either go up the stairs on the left or walk straight, follow the walkway and turn left at the first corner to go up the slope to OCBC Arboretum.

The Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum building was built in 1898. Named: Atbara House, is Gallop House No. 5. It is Singapore’s oldest surviving colonial era or black-and-white bungalow.

The Botanical Art Gallery building is a refurbished conserved building. Named: Inverturret, it is Gallop House No. 7, which was built in 1906.
The gallery highlights the vital role that art plays in the scientific documentation of plants in Singapore and the region, as well as how art can inspire renewed appreciation of the natural world around us. This is Singapore’s first permanent display of botanical art, where visitors can see a selection of the Singapore Botanic Gardens’ collection that includes more than 2,000 botanical paintings, as well as hundreds of sketches, line drawings and photographs. The display showcases various art forms, from original watercolours and ink drawings to prints and printing blocks.
