To the right of the Fairfield Methodist Church is the Jinriksha Station.

72) Jinriksha Station

The Jinriksha Station, at the junction of Neil Rd and Tanjong Pagar Rd, used to be the main depot for rickshaws. Rickshaw was invented by the Japanese. Jinriksha means: "man-powered vehicle" in japanese. The building was sold to Jackie Chan for $11 million, in 2007.

Continue down Tg Pagar Rd until you see Oasia Hotel Downtown, on your left and Tg Pagar Food Centre on your right.

80) Oasia Hotel Downtown

Oasia Hotel Downtown has won many awards and Singapore Post even created a stamp featuring the building.

It has 21 species of creepers on its facade and is a habitat for birds and climbing animals. It has 4 sky terraces that are located on levels 6, 12, 21 and 27. Each sky terrace is sheltered by the one above and opens on all sides.

Walk back along Tg Pagar Rd and turn right into Maxwell Rd and cross over to the Maxwell Food Centre side of the Rd. Good food and drinks awaits you.

Walk to the front of the URA Centre and the Airview Building is just opposite the Rd.

Walk back and pass the Maxwell Food Centre, turn right to South Bridge Rd and then continue walking until you see on your right Eskine Rd. Walk into Eskine Rd to view the mural of a Westerner's interpretation of a Samsui Woman. You may also want to shoot the rows of lighted heritage shophouses.

Continue walking along Eskine Rd until you see The Scarlet.

89) The Scarlet

The Scarlet is a hotel made up of 13 early shophouses built in 1868 and a 1924 Art Deco building.

Behind The Scarlet is Ann Siang House and Ang Siang Rd. Walk towards Ann Siang House and it is well worth capturing.

Ann Siang House is a hotel that used to be a heritage shophouse that was built in the 1920s.

Continue walking on Ann Siang Rd and then turn right at Ann Siang Hill and continue walking and turn left and go up the flight of stairs and observe the wall murals on your right if you wish.

Continue walking until you hit the Rd, which is Club St and then turn right and walk until you see the Goh Loo Club and the CHINESE WEEKLY ENTERTAINMENT CLUB.

The CHINESE WEEKLY ENTERTAINMENT CLUB is a heritage building that was built in 1891. Club St inherited its name from this club.
