51) Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands is an iconic landmark that is an integrated resort with hotel rooms and suites and an extraordinary rooftop Sands SkyPark with an Infinity Pool. It also has a great shopping mall, the largest nightclub in Singapore, world-class celebrity chef restaurants, a theatre, a Las Vegas-style casino, exhibition halls, a convention centre and an ArtScience Museum.

52) The Singapore Flyer

The Singapore Flyer is designed and built to rotate smoothly under various wind conditions at high altitudes. Each rotation is about 30 minutes.

From the Singapore Flyer, you can see up to 45 kilometres away and you’ll be able to see Changi Airport, Sentosa Island, and even parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.

When you see Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay on your left, Jubilee Bridge will be on your right. Walk across the Jubilee Bridge after exploring Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay. This is a great location to capture Esplanade - Theatres on the Bay, the river scenery, Helix Bridge, MBS and Merlion to your left and Fullerton Hotel on your right.

53) Jubilee Bridge

Jubilee Bridge is a pedestrian bridge connecting Merlion Park and The Esplanade by spanning the Singapore River. It runs parallel to the Espanade Bridge.

54) Helix Bridge

The Helix is the longest pedestrian bridge in Singapore. It has a distinctive double helix structure modelled on the DNA structure. It spans Marina Bay, connecting Marina Centre with the Bayfront area and runs paralel to the Bayfront Bridge.

55) The Merlion

The Merlion’s lion head represents the city’s original name of Singapura (lion city in Sanskrit). Its fish body represents Singapore’s origins as a fishing village.

It was built by local craftsman Lim Nang Seng, designed by Kwan Sai Kheong. The Merlion statue stands at 8.6 metres and weighs 70 tonnes.
