Mama Gaya: "the mother’s power or strength" is a large wooden crocodile carrying numerous baby crocodiles carved from a single tree trunk of a rain tree by a Timorese sculptor.
East Timor legend tells of the transformation of a crocodile into the current island, with the ridges of its back represented by the mountains that run from the east to the west of the island.

The Floral Clock is a gift from Audemars Piguet. It is a seven-metre-wide Floral Clock that draws inspiration from the Swiss watchmaker's Royal Oak collection and fuses traditional and contemporary landscaping elements in its design. Its clock hands is guided by the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology.
