Continue walking until you see the Maxwell Food Centre on the opposite side of the Rd. Turn right and you can see the Fairfield Methodist Church.

71) Fairfield Methodist Church

Built in 1958, Fairfield Methodist Church building was formerly the Metropole Cinema (Chinese:镜花电影院). Other than Oriental and Majestic, it was one of Chinatown's three famous cinemas.

To the right of the Fairfield Methodist Church is the Jinriksha Station.

72) Jinriksha Station

The Jinriksha Station, at the junction of Neil Rd and Tanjong Pagar Rd, used to be the main depot for rickshaws. Rickshaw was invented by the Japanese. Jinriksha means: "man-powered vehicle" in japanese. The building was sold to Jackie Chan for $11 million, in 2007.
